Sessay Arts and Craft Group

Sessay Arts and Craft Group replaced the Rural Arts provision Hearts and Crafts from January 2026. It is a self-funded group led in turn by volunteer participants, leading the group and changing each session.

The group runs in sets of 5 classes at £30 per set. Tea and Coffee and biscuits are included. The structure of each session is down to whoever is leading the session, but loosely, the intention is to have a break away from creativity to have a natter, and also include a show and tell at the end where everything created is displayed for all participants to see.

Rural Arts is a registered charity that delivers inspiring and inclusive creative opportunities that enrich lives and connect communities under the banner name HeArts and Crafts. Following their success in securing grants from the National Lottery and The Henry Smith Foundation Rural Arts has sent the following dates for the art classes to note in our diaries. Each class and the activity will be confirmed as we go through the year.
