Grand Raffle Draw

Over the summer months tickets will be available to purchase and to sell to friends and family to raise money towards the improvements to the village play area. Some of the current equipment is in urgent need of replacement, and further funds would also enable us to provide equipment to engage a wider age range of children.  These facilities are regularly used by local children and children who visit families within the village. They are also used by families from Sessay Cricket Club and visiting teams. Generous donations and fundraising have already been made, and we are hoping the Grand Raffle Draw will help us reach our fundraising goal or beyond.

Look out for tickets at upcoming events both for the village and the cricket club. Details of the prizes and the date of the draw TBC.

Refurbishment

Phase 2 is well underway. A patio has been laid outside the new Meeting Room with some more work to be completed. Bi-fold doors are in place and cedar cladding has been added across the end wall. This will be extended across the second gable end. Work has started modifying the changing rooms, and they are ready for a toilet in each. The bar is still accessible from the main hall, although the corridor is no longer in use. Work continues on schedule to be completed before the cricket season starts.

Just to remind you, Facebook users, that Sessay Village Hall also has a Facebook page. You can find it by searching your Facebook app for Sessay Village Hall 2024 or clicking here.
