Sessay Sing and Share
Our first Sing and Share session was held on Thursday, 31st July, with a small group of five meeting together. For now, we’ll continue gathering in each other’s homes, and if the group grows, we’ll look into using the village hall.
We plan to meet monthly, and our next session will be at Turners Croft on Thursday, 28th August at 2:00 pm. We began with a few simple songs and plan for everyone to bring along a song to share.
If you’d like to join us, please get in touch on 07904 769270.

Enamel Tiles Workshop
Many of us took part in the Enamel Tiles project, which is to be displayed on the outside of the Village Hall. We haven’t forgotten. It’s just that we are struggling to come up with the best solution to attach the tiles. It’s still going to happen!
Village Hall Refurbishment – Phase 3
We are continuing our efforts to raise the funds to complete the final phase of the village hall refurbishment programme.
Last week we received some very good news. Stephen Langstaff, Chairman of Sessay Cricket Club has secured a £10,000 grant from the E.C.B towards the final phase of the project.Well done Stephen and thank you.
We are awaiting the outcome of another grant application, continuing holding fundraising events and are gratefully receiving donations.
We plan to undertake the work during the closed cricket season, with minimal disruption to all users of the hall. This is of course dependent on raising the funds to proceed with the project.
We are grateful for the continued support and hard work of those involved in raising funds, to those of you who support and attend our events and to those who have donated funds for the project.
