Church Flowers
Can anyone spare a couple of hours a year to go on the Rota for altar flowers in the Church? This involves putting two vases of flowers on the altar approximately once a year, twice at the most. You do not need to be a fabulous flower arranger, just someone willing to give a little time. The new rota will be coming out soon, so if you feel you can help, please get in touch with Doreen Till on 01845 577906.
Parish Council Meeting
Thursday March 19th, 6:45 pm
The next Parish Council meeting will be held on March 19th at 6:45 pm in the Village Hall
Footpaths
Footpaths and tracks around Sessay are precious and few. The farmers do their best, but at certain times of the year, the routes can be obscure. There may be an opportunity to replace and add to the footpath signs and markers. With this in mind, please can anyone wandering the local area, who notices a missing or damaged sign, take a photo and note the map reference or better still, ‘What-Three-Words’ location and forward to: John MacPherson by email
Community Litter Pick
March 29th 1:00 pm
Please join us on Sunday, 29 March, to clear litter from the verges of our local roads. Bags, picking sticks and high viz vests will be available at Sessay Village Hall at 1.00 pm. Please do not use black bags, as the Council will only remove the blue ones that will be provided. Let’s keep our environment clean and tidy!

20 mph Speed Limit
Proposed change from 30mph to 20mph through Sessay Garth
Thank you to everyone who has responded to the proposal for a reduced speed limit through Sessay Garth.
Votes, questions and comments are being collated. If you haven’t yet sent me your opinion, it is not too late. The letters were posted through each door on Sessay Garth a few weeks ago. If the dog has eaten it, or it somehow went astray during your New Year clear-out, please do get in touch with me and I will happily provide you with another copy. If there is more than one adult in a household, multiple copies can be supplied – or, to help save the planet, electronically sent.
Contact me by WhatsApp, text or phonecall to 07789911784 or email to drinkwater@btinternet.com
Everyone’s opinion counts. Thank you, Carole Drinkwater
