Christmas Fair
Saturday November 9th 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
A wide range of craft and food stalls have been booked with many returning from last year and even more stalls. There will also a Tombola, Refreshments, cake, mince pies and mulled wine. A great opportunity for some early Christmas shopping!

Several people have kindly brought plates of food to recent events. The food has been eaten, but please can you remove your plates, bowls and dishes. We have a beautiful new kitchen and do not want to fill the cupboards with random plates. Thank you!
We have a new Facebook page. You can find out yet more about whats going on by joining our new Facebook group. Just search on Facebook for Sessay Village Hall 2024. Its easy to join and then you can join in with discussions, keep up to date and tell us about things of interest. Its set up to be much more interactive than the old page.
Coming Events
New Years Eve Village Bar December 31st 7:30pm onwards
Everyone welcome from 7.30pm to bring in 2025. Bring a plate of food to contribute to the shared buffet. Tell a joke, sing a song, read a poem, have a dance. Bar open. See in the New Year together.

Mama Mia Night Saturday January 11th – 7.30pm
Sing and dance along to a film showing of Mama Mia. Fancy dress encouraged. Refreshments available.
Make Your Mark Enameling Workshop
Monday 13th January 4:00 – 5:30 or 6:00 – 7:30
Contribute to a display at Sessay Village Hall. You are invited to take part in a workshop to create your own enamel tile to ‘Make Your Mark’ as part of the refurbishment. Suitable for adults and children. Afternoon and evening workshops to accommodate after school or after work! Your tile will be put on the gable end of the village hall.

Springs and Twigs Willow Weaving Spring Wreath
Saturday 22nd March 10:00 – 12:00
Make a wreath with seasonal greener, dried flowers and ribbon. Materials, tea / coffee / soft drinks available. £45 per ticket. Cakes available to buy.

Sessay Village Bar
Every Friday 7:30pm
Winter opening times will be 7:30 pm till late!! Its a nice social evening and full stop to the week. Keep up with gossip. Occasional quizzes and other events such as dominoes or bingo. Just for fun! Keep up to date for last minute changes via Sessay Village Bar Facebook page.

Sessay Carpet Bowls Club
Every Tuesday 7:15 pm for 7:30 start
Sessay Carpet Bowls is open to everyone. Its a great way to spend cold winter evenings. No experience required and full instructions given!! Sessay has two teams who play in local leagues and two mats to play on so even if there’s a match you can still come for fun and practice. The season continues every week until late March.

Hearts And Crafts Class 10:00. Classes vary each week. £2 entry. The class is currently heavily subscribed. Resources and Artists time is limited. If you’ve been before please keep coming. If you would like to start coming, then please contact Carole Trow by Email, and ask to go on a waiting list.

Sessay Stitchers – Village Hall at 2:00pm – 4:00 pm
Whether you are an expert, a complete beginner or anything in between, if you’d like friendly, informal company when making anything fibre based – join us.
