Harvest Festival

Everyone is most welcome at our celebration of Harvest. The service will begin at 7pm in Church and will be followed by a delicious supper and an auction of produce in the Village Hall

We would be most grateful for any contributions to the supper and the sale of produce. These should be at the Hall between 6 and 7pm on Friday 6th October.

We look forward to seeing you.

Five Loose Chippings

A marked contrast to the Hot Doggers are Five Loose Chippings. They are a not for profit band from Thirsk who play Americana, Country and pop classics in a distinctive style.

The volunteers will be clearing out under the stage and dismantling the stage. Anyone wanting the wood can take it away. Mucky clothes and gloves needed!

Phase 1 of the Village Hall Refurb is set to commence soon. This comprises building new area where the rose garden is, creating a new main entrance, moving the kitchen and creating a bare bones kitchen and moving the diabled toilet entrance. The WI rose garden will go, so anyone wanting mature rose bushes can come and dig one up at any time. A lot have gone already.
