The Village Hall
Situated in the centre of Sessay, the Village Hall is the focal point of parish life. Comprising a large, light hall, meeting room, store, kitchen, bar and changing rooms, the building is home to numerous functions.
The Hall is easily accessible by car from the A19 to the east and the A1M to the west. There is a large car park.
The hall is fully accessible with wheelchair ramps wide doors and a toilet. There are also personal hearing loops in the main hall.

The main hall has a fixed, expandable moveable stage, which can be placed in a variety of places in the hall. There is a sprung wooden floor and a capacity of up to 112 people. It is used for indoor bowls, craft and art groups, community meetings, conferences and private functions. There is a closeable hatch directly to the kitchen.
A separate club room/meeting room is available.
Kitchen
Bar
The spacious bar has a range of comfortable furniture, a pool table, darts and a TV. Staffed by volunteers it is open on Fridays during the winter and most weekends in the summer – especially for sports events such as bowls and cricket.
Outside
Outside the hall, there is a large parking area. The Bowls Club, with its clubhouse, adjoins the hall and there is also a children’s play area.
