Any other business

Anyone is welcome to join and share skills, ideas and a little of their time to help with fundraising efforts and to offer a range of social events for the village. If you are interested in joining the Sessay Village Events Committee or can help out at a specific event come along to the meeting or email Heather Dale here. Next meeting Wednesday May 22nd 7:30 at Lisa’s house!

Village Hall Refurbishment

There has been less rapid progress than was expected, partly due to long planned events in the hall, but work should be back in track as soon as the Flower Arranging event is complete. There has been much pipework and plumbing going on and the kitchen is almost complete. There are other small details such as safety handrails, curtains and floor coverings arriving. Unfortunately the disruption to the use of the hall will continue longer than expected. All users have been notified and events cancelled or re-sited in the bar area. Please continue to take care in the building whilst this is going on.
Also please be aware when parking cars, of the drop by the edge where the rose garden used to be, and the former disabled access ramp. This will be flattened out and gravel added to make things more level, please don’t get stuck!
